Whimsy Guild is excited to host guest artist Jennifer DeFoe for this fun and relaxing needle felting workshop! Jen is an artist, illustrator, and art educator with a background in graphic design, textile design, and printmaking. (And she’s also the sister of Whimsy Guild Chaos Coordinator Aimee!)

In this workshop, Jen will introduce you to the cozy and tactile art of 2D needle felting. Needle felting is a magical process where repeatedly poking the wool with a special needle joins it together. It’s beginner-friendly and a great craft to do while chatting and getting to know new friends! By the end of the workshop, you’ll have everything you need to make a small finished piece. If you don’t finish it during the workshop, no worries! You’ll take home the needle tool, foam block, and enough roving to finish.
